Vacuum forming is the manufacturing process that allows the replication of small and large 3D shapes and forms to be copied in a variety of plastics and polymers. This process is great for small and large objects where a semi-constant thin wall thickness is needed for the part being made from the 3D shape or mold. The process works by hearting up a sheet of material until it is pliable, once pliable the heated material is pulled over the form or shape that is being copied. All the air is then vacuumed out from the inside cavity drawing the malleable material around the mold taking the shape and copying that of the 3D mold/form.
